Dear friends and colleagues,
As the second anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine approaches, we are relaunching our Ukraine Appeal and, to kickstart our efforts, we are hosting an online lecture titled ‘Loss, Defiance, and the Fight for Justice’ by Olesya Khromeychuk on 4 March. Join us in making a difference during this critical time.
In the first edition of our newsletter this year, we also bring you the latest update on the applications received for the 2024 Small Grants Scheme.
Our organisation continues to develop and grow. Having recruited four new trustees last autumn, we recently welcomed our new Information and Administration Officer and two Advisers. Our readers can now also access the BEARR website in Ukrainian, marking a significant step in expanding our reach and accessibility.
Finally, we have the usual project reports and news from the region.
